About Andrew Neu
Based out of Philadelphia, Andrew Neu is a popular saxophonist, arranger, woodwind player, educator, and composer. The Billboard charting music artist has also extensively toured the world. Andrew Neu has toured extensively with artists such as Bobby Caldwell, Norman Brown, Diane Schuur, and many more. He has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Elton John, Joey DeFrancesco, and several others.
Music Career
During the early days of his music career, he conducted the jazz ensemble at Swarthmore College. Andrew Neu also has a degree in saxophone performance and music education. Since 1999, Andrew has also conducted the jazz program at Lower Merion High School. He has also led the band on four tours of Italy. Andrew Neu began his solo career in 2000 with the release of his album “Inspire”. This was followed by “In Clear View” in 2007.
In the early days of his music career, Andrew Neu released four contemporary jazz CDs. Soon after, Andrew Neu released the album titled “Catwalk” in 2018. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and featured all of Andrew’s arrangements. “Catwalk” featured several compositions such as “Juggernaut”, “Zebrano”, “Catwalk”, “Alpha Dog” and many more. The album also featured other artists such as Wayne Bergeron, Randy Brecker, Rick Braun, and Brian Bromberg, amongst others.
